Seminar will explain about the outcome of the first step (Studymaterials) and the aims of the next step (Teach the Teachers Program) of the project.

Introduction
In a one day seminar the first results of the cooperation between the Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, GadjahMada University in Yogyakarta, the Concrete Society in The Netherlands andPT. BajaEngineering will behighlighted. Experts from GadjahMada University, Royal HASKONING, Witteveen + Bos and PT. Baja Engineering have worked closely together on three topics in the field of concrete structures:
– Effective Design of Concrete Constructions
– Concrete Maintenance
– Social Housing: Concrete for Low Cost Housing
The outcome, study materials will be presented by the experts from all parties involved. In October and November 2011 the studymaterials will be explained in far more detail during the teach the teachers program at the GadjahMada University.
Participants from all over Indonesia
– University’s Professor/ Lecturers in Architecture Engineering and Civil Engineering
– Master students in Structural Design, Architecture and Civil Engineering
– Consultants, Contractors, Public Works, Cementindustry and HAKI (Himpunan Ahli Konstruksi Indonesia) members
– Number of participants: 100 – 125 persons
Extended Abstract
All participants kindly be invited to submit 2 (two) pages extended abstract containing any informations, issues and problems related to the topic for discussion in the sessions.
Note: Full paper will be presented in the Teach-Teacher Program on 3 – 7 October and 21 – 25 November 2011.

Aim:
Presenting and consulting studymaterial for the project ”Transfer of Technology on (Cost) Effective and Sustainable Design Concrete Constructions” and drawing attention for the Teach Teacher Program on 3 – 7October and 21 – 25 November 2011.
Costs:
– Fee: Rp. 300.000,- per person
– Traveling costs for the participants of academician from Universities will be covered by 50%.
