Info Day was held again on Wednesday (14/8) by the Department of Architecture and Planning in rooms K1 and K2. This Info Day was attended by new students for the academic year 2024/2025 from the Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning programs. The Info Day event is an event to introduce the Department of Architecture and Planning (DTAP) which includes the history of DTAP, DTAP environmental conditions, lecturer introductions, education staff introductions, DTAP facilities, to activities and activities that can be carried out by students.
After attending the first public lecture of the Faculty of Engineering, DTAP students began to arrive in room K1-K2. The event started at 13.00 with the singing of Indonesia Raya and Gadjah Mada Hymn and the screening of the Department Introduction video. Ir. Deva Fosterharoldas Swasto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM. as the head of the Department officially opened the Info Day event, and immediately continued with a presentation on the general introduction of DTAP. The event continued with a presentation by Syam Rachma Marcillia, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. (Department Secretary) who introduced all lecturers and KBK (Group of Expertise) in DTAP. It is intended that students get to know all lecturers even though they do not directly meet in lectures later. The last presentation was the introduction of educational staff (tendik) delivered by Rina Yosefiana (Head of Unit Affairs). Tendik will help students process various administrations related to lectures and supporting lectures such as permits, survey letters, competitions, scholarships, and so on, therefore it is important for students to also get to know tenaga didik (tendik) on the DTAP campus.
Although the event lasted until noon, the students seemed excited and enthusiastic to learn more about DTAP and its contents. The event then continued with each study program. Hopefully this Info Day can be a memorable opening event for students to the DTAP campus which will be a place to gain knowledge until they graduate later.
