In her presentation, Dissa explained that the extreme climate change that is hitting the world today is also a result of urban infrastructure development, therefore a sustainable and resilient city design is needed to deal with this. One of them is through adaptive landscape design, which makes nature and various natural processes that occur as part of the design. Dissa also presented her projects with Ramboll Studio in Singapore as a precedent in her explanation of 5S design thinking that needs to be considered in adaptive design, namely site, scale, scenario, stewardship, and share-benefit.

After the presentation was over, the event continued with a question and answer session. Guided by Alyas Abibawa as moderator, several participants enthusiastically asked questions that sparked an interesting discussion. According to Dissa, implementing adaptive design in Indonesia needs to be adapted to the local context and existing social conditions. She believes that currently people in Indonesia are also increasingly concerned and understand the importance of public outdoor space, especially after the pandemic, public awareness to be able to do outdoor activities safely and comfortably is also increasing. This should be a momentum for many parties to invest in the development of a good public outdoor space.
