Graduation Ceremony of Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning Graduates, DTAP UGM August 2025

On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Department of Architecture and Planning (DTAP), Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada held a graduation ceremony for prospective graduates of the Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning (URP) undergraduate programs. The event took place at the DTAP inner court, decorated with outdoor tents, and was held from 13.00 to 15.30 WIB. This farewell ceremony has become a regular tradition prior to the official commencement at Grha Sabha Pramana (GSP) UGM the following day.

For the August 2025 period, the Architecture program presented 56 prospective graduates, while the URP program had 48 prospective graduates. Each graduate was accompanied by a maximum of two guests, marking the culmination of their academic journey after years of study. The Architecture graduates were those who completed their final assessments between May and July 2025, while the URP graduates completed theirs between April and July 2025.

From the Architecture program, 76.79% of graduates earned the cum laude distinction, with an average GPA of 3.58. The highest GPA was achieved by Audreylia Adeana Kayla Putri, with a GPA of 3.82. The average study duration was 4 years and 2 months. The fastest completion was recorded by five students from the class of 2021: Isabela Adristi Maheswari R, Sarah Julia, Salma Putri Naila, Audreylia Adeana Kayla Putri, and Syakira Zalfa. The youngest graduate was Syifa Azmi Larasati, who completed her degree at the age of exactly 21 years.

Meanwhile, from the URP program, 75% of graduates earned the cum laude distinction, with an average GPA of 3.59. The highest GPA, 3.84, was achieved by Mudza’inatin Rozanatun Sa’adah. The fastest completion was achieved by Demetria Dahayu Kayla Didrika, who finished her studies in only 3 years and 8 months. The average study duration for this cohort was 4 years and 2 months. The youngest graduate was Kirana Qurratuainnisa Zahira, who graduated at the age of 21 years and 2 months.

This graduation celebration is not only an academic milestone but also reflects DTAP FT UGM’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The achievement of quality education (SDG 4) is embodied in the academic excellence of the graduates. Their future contributions to sustainable planning and development align with the goal of creating sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11). Furthermore, the spirit of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to society affirms the importance of building strong and just institutions (SDG 16).

Congratulations to the Architecture and URP graduates of the August 2025 period. May this achievement serve as a strong foundation to move forward, to apply knowledge in meaningful ways, and to bring positive impact to the nation and society. The future awaits with both challenges and opportunities, and the experiences gained at UGM will be a guiding light in the next chapters of their journey.
