  1. ICIAP (International Conference on Indonesia Architecture and Planning)

ICIAP The International Conference on Indonesia Architecture and Planning (ICIAP) is part of a biennale international program at the Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada. With the focus on the field of architecture and planning subject/discourse in Indonesia, the conference is expected to be able to capture ideas, concept, methods, or practice that evolve continously in this field.

  1. International Joint Studio

International Joint Studio is an elective course in Urban and Regional Planning Study Program. This course provides students with an international working environment in a planning studio. The student will do a studio project with another student of the university partner. The key issues of the particular topics are community development, urban regeneration, and etc.

  1. Architecture Excursion / KKA (Kuliah Kerja Arsitektur)

KKA (Kuliah Kerja Arsitektur) is an excursion activity from Architecture Students. At KKA, UGM Architecture students visited various popular destinations outside countries which were considered to have real references in Indonesia’s case studies. Field observations made by students in each focus of destinations (sub-themes) will eventually be reviewed and implemented in the post-KKA design which is still a continuation of the KKA program.

  1. Planning Excursion / KKP (Kuliah Kerja Perencanaan)

KKP (Kuliah Kerja Perencanaan) is an excursion activity from Urban and Regional Planning Students. At KKP, UGM Urban and Regional Planning students visited various popular destinations outside countries which were considered to have real references in Indonesia’s case studies. Field observations made by students in each focus of destinations (sub-themes) will eventually be reviewed and implemented in the post-KKP design and presentation which is still a continuation of the KKP program. By comparing case studies in Indonesia and outside countries, the program is expected to find inspirations and solutions from similar countries in spatial planning.

  1. Students Exchange

A student exchange program is a program in which students from a secondary school or university study abroad at one of their institution’s partner institutions. Foreign exchange programs provide students with an opportunity to study in a different country and environment experiencing the history and culture of another country, as well as meeting new friends to enrich their personal development. International exchange programs are also effective to challenge students to develop a global perspective.
