Friday, March 21, 2025 – The Master of Urban Design Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada held an Iftar Gathering with current Urban Design students and alumni from KARTAGAMA. The event took place in Room K1, 2nd Floor, and was opened and accompanied by the Head of Program, Dr. Dyah Titisari Widyastuti, S.T., MUDD, and lecturer Ir. Ikaputra, M.Eng., Ph.D.
Reflecting the event’s theme, “Sharing Stories and Aspirations in Urban Design,” the gathering began with introductions between alumni and students, followed by a storytelling session where alumni shared their joyful experiences in the world of urban design—both during their academic years and in their professional careers, as academics and practitioners.
This sharing session aimed not only to foster connections between alumni and students but also to provide valuable insights into the urban design profession. By learning from alumni experiences, students were given a clearer perspective on the career paths they may choose in the future. This aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), particularly in increasing the number of productive youth equipped with skills for decent and relevant employment.
