ABOUT ARCHITECTURE PROFESSIONAL STUDY PROGRAM

The Architecture Professional Study Program is a field of study that studies built environment as human’s basic physical needs. This study program aims to teach students how to create positive influence through a creative and deliberate design process. The scope of study is from the scale of single buildings to masterplan.

Since architecture is product of adaptation from inhereted values and external factors of the site, students are expected to be sensitive and mindful, while also being rational and empirical in the process of creating the best design, not only for the people living insideit , but also the people and the environment surrounding it.

Admission Requirements

  1. Holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree
  2. Has adequate English Skills, proven bypassing English qualification test by UGM (ACEPT) or other English qualification tests
  3. Has a good track of architecture designs, proven by a portfolio of design works
  4. Has a good track of activities, proven by a CV
  5. Passes the program’s entrance  examination

PROGRAM OUTLINE

The Profesional Program aims to prepare students to become creative, internationally competitive, environmentally and socially responsible, professional individuals in the
field of architecture.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates of this program are eligible to work as architects after enrolling in a professional program. Previous graduates have also found employment in the fields of interior design, material and building elements, construction supervision, research, management of the built environment in the government sector, or other creative fields such as photography, animation, and graphic design.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS

Graduates of this program will have a preprofessional qualification and can proceed to become an IAI (Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia/Indonesian Board of Architects)-licensed architect with certain requirements.
