All students of the Applied Bachelor, Bachelor, Professional, and Postgraduate Programs at Universitas Gadjah Mada are hereby informed that re-registration and payment of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2026/2027 is now open. Students are expected to review the following information carefully and complete the re-registration process on time.
Before submitting any request for a semester leave, reinstatement, study extension, or tuition fee reduction or deferral, students must first obtain written approval through the SMS FT Letter Administration system. Once approval is granted, the relevant submission can be processed through SIMASTER.
UKT payment as part of re-registration is open from 1 – 31 July 2026 via UGM’s partner banks: BNI, Bank Mandiri, BTN, BRI, Bank Syariah Indonesia, BPD DIY, CIMB Niaga, Bank Jateng, and BCA. Payment instructions are available at akademik.ugm.ac.id.
The following specific provisions apply based on student status:
- Active students may proceed directly with UKT payment through the designated partner banks.
- Students returning from leave or inactive status may apply for reinstatement through SIMASTER no later than 24 July 2026.
- Students seeking a study extension must submit their request through SIMASTER by 24 July 2026, with faculty/department approval due by 28 July 2026.
- Students who have graduated (via yudisium) by 31 July 2026 and are awaiting their graduation ceremony are exempt from re-registration and UKT payment.
- KIP-Kuliah/ADik scholarship recipients with active scholarships must follow the Ditmawa UGM guidelines. Those whose scholarships have ended must first request a UKT setting update from their faculty before making payment.
For students facing financial difficulty, UGM offers two facilities:
- UKT payment deferral — applications may be submitted via simaster.ugm.ac.id from 23 June – 24 July 2026. If approved, payment may be made from 21 September – 2 October 2026.
- UKT fee reduction — applications are submitted during the same period (23 June – 24 July 2026). Refund applications for students who have completed their yudisium are open from 28 September – 9 October 2026.
Students planning to take academic leave may submit their request through SIMASTER no later than 21 August 2026, with the Dean’s approval due by 28 August 2026. Academic leave is not available to students who are currently completing their final project, under a study extension, or receiving a scholarship.
Please note that students who have not completed re-registration, have not applied for academic leave, and have not submitted a UKT deferral request by 31 July 2026 will be declared Inactive and will not be permitted to participate in any academic activities or use campus facilities throughout the Odd Semester 2026/2027.
